Creatively about artistic and entertaining heritage

In this project, in a creative way and through the usage of digital tools, students are going to present the cultural heritage of the place they live in. The emphasis is placed on the artistic and entertaining heritage, and its contribution in shaping European identity. The project contributes to the celebration of the 2019 European Heritage Day. 

The goals:

To present the cultural heritage in a fun and creative way.

To organize an appropriate program at school.

To notice the forms of common European heritage.

To develop communication, cooperation, and digital skills.

Working procedure:

The project will be active during September and October to coincide with the European Heritage Day of 2019. Using different digital tools, in a creative and a fun way, the project participants are going to present the cultural heritage they’ve been exploring: building models, music, traditional toys, dishes, herbs and spices, dances, music, drama etc. At the end of the project, students are going to create a digital poster about the presented cultural heritage of the project partners, and create several quizzes and games about what has been learned.

Expected results:

The project participants will be introduced to joint European cultural heritage, encourage tolerance towards the other cultures while raising the awareness about the protection of the heritage. The project promotes creativity, communication, and cooperation on the international level.
