Donut Day - Creative people can do more
Fat Thursday is a traditional donut festival in Poland. The custom of baking donuts in the last week of the carnival came to us from Germany, but today nobody remembers it, it has always been considered a typical Polish custom. Eating a good fluffy donut on this day ensures prosperity throughout the year. School Complex Karol Libelta in Gołańcz also goes hand in hand with tradition takes part in the crazy baking of donuts. Treats, not only donuts, but also biscuits, were baked by II-grade and II-grade students in a catering studio under the supervision of Renata Tomaszewska. Is healthy? The main ingredients are fresh egg yolks, milk, yeast, flour, and sugar, some butter. Filling depends on the fantasy and creativity of confectioners. Our chokeberry jam is also made by hand. They taste best when freshly baked. We prepared refreshments for the students of our school as well as for students of the 8th grade of the surrounding primary schools as part of the competition promotion. Today, students present themselves in the profession of food technician and gastronomic services of Bon Appetit.
