The last days of the eighth grade students spent exploring the natural and cultural diversity of Bory Tucholskie (northern part of Poland). An important aspect of the project were project-related issues. We talked about the history and traditions (including culinary) of the area and tasted treats. Before kayaking we ate donuts, which we will tell you a little later. We will soon send a video of our trip and meanwhile we are sending a few postcards for you!
A characteristic culinary element for this region at this time of year are mushrooms. They are eaten in different ways and in different dishes. And also preserves or dries for the next seasons. This region is also famous for delicious fish - especially trout, as well as for slightly sweeter - blueberry dumplings. The latter stain teeth, lips and tongue purple. Everything was delicious.
During the trip, we also celebrated the birthday of Magda and Eliasz. We ate a delicious strawberry cake from a local bakery.
