Unemployment in Europe is high and many young people can expect an uncertain future with difficulties of getting into the labour market unless they are able to create job opportunities for themselves. But they are not equipped! So what are the reasons?

The lack of specific skills, lack of ambition, inspiration and motivation, and a school curriculum neglecting employability and entrepreneurial training in favor of theoretical knowledge with little or no practical experience are reasons that are easily identified.

We have an obligation to equip our students so that they can create employment opportunities for themselves and for others and contribute to economic growth. This is done through an entrepreneurial approach and the acquisition of skills to implement one's own ideas. Also, people have to be able to act both within their national boundaries and in an international market and so they need knowledge and understanding of both national and international conditions for business and entrepreneurship.

There is research to prove that a person who has studied entrepreneurship and have had the possibility of starting a business at a young age is more likely to start his or her own company, will earn more money, and is less likely to become unemployed. 

Unfortunately the Entrepreneurship topic is not so common and in schools where it is present, the topic needs to be further developed and an international approach has to be embraced.

This is the motivation for our project.
