2. 3. Our schools and their environmental policies

  • Good morning students and teachers,

    Welcome to the activity "Our school and their environmental policies"

    In this activity, teachers may prepare a document to show students each school actions on environment. So students will learn about their schools environmental policies.

    These are Spanish school actions on Environment.

    Students and teachers will have a look at all partners schools environmental policies. They will discuss about their similarities and differencies.

    Later two students from each country will create a TwinBoard and they will write down those similarities and differencies. Finally, they will make a suggestion of action to all schools.

    Environmental care in SP im. Jana Pawła II w Koszęcinie

    The school community takes care about the environmental problems. Students are aware of what to do to protect our local wildlife, they know how to behave to be environmentaly friendly.

    The clean-up the world action in Koszęcin

    20th September students at 8th grade of our school went to the local forest and they tried to make the place cleaner. They collected rubbish left by citizens.

    The ecological festival

    Students at 4th grade attended the green festival on 26th September. They learned how to live ecologically.

    The art competition "Ecological family"

    In October the school volunteering club announced the competition for families. They had to prepare the poster showing how they take care of the environment among their families.

    The ecological walk"

    On 14th October the teachers and students walked through the streets of Koszęcin and they demonstrated how the smoke going up from the chimneys influences and harms the air.

    The measurement of the height of waters in the swamps

    From September our students who belong to school environmental club take the measurement of the height of waters in the swamps. They provide the research to check if the level of water decreases, how it influences fauna and flora of the swamps and what can be done to stop that occurrence.
