International meeting (C2)

  • The second meeting was held on March 4 – March 6, 2019, in Narva Krenholm Gymnasium (Estonia). The main goals of this meeting were to learn how to develop study materials and how to test them with students.

    Day 1. All participants visited the Information Technology Foundation for Education HITSA in Tallinn. The visit included an overview of HITSA’s strategic goals and their implementation.

    A training session was held in HITSA about different kinds of study materials, their structure and principles of creating them. During the training discussions and exchange of experiences were held. After the seminar all participants got a certificate of attendance.

    Day 2. Getting down to basics. Participants defined all chosen future competencies as they understand them. These definitions will be taken into account when developing study materials. 

    Presentation of different possibilities for the projects’ logotype that were created by Slovenian students. The project group discussed all variants and chose one of them to represent the project. 

    Working with study materials. Drafts and/or ideas were discussed and developed in small groups and then main ideas were shared in the whole group. 

    Testing study materials with students. Materials were tested by Spanish colleagues. 

    Cultural part of the day included learning Estonian folk-dance Kaera-Jaan. The dancing class was given by the schools’ PE teacher.

    Everybody did just great!
