    This animated film is a result of workshop held by FKVKZ; Zaprešić, Croatia 6.- 8.6.2022.

    The animated film "Marketplace" was shot using a combination of several techniques. Animation of drawings on paper was used to create animations in speech bubbles and pigeons. The drawings were made on drawing tables (a table with a background light for tracing) in pencil, bolded with a felt-tip pen (outline) and colored by hand. After that, they were scanned on the computer and processed in the Adobe Photoshop Pro program, where color corrections and transparency of the drawings were made. Processed drawings are combined into animation sequences.

    One animation sequence was drawn digitally on a Wacom Cintiq 23 graphics tablet.

    The backgrounds of the film as well as individual "objects" in the film (tables, umbrellas) are also drawings processed in a similar way on the computer.

    The characters in the film, the main actors, were shot on a green screen with a BlackMagic Pocket Cinema 6K camera, each character individually or in pairs, depending on the plot. At the same time, the sound of the dialogue was recorded. The recorded materials were then processed in the Adobe AfterEffects Pro program, where "keying" was done (creating transparency by removing the green background), arranging them in a sequential order and applying certain effects (FindEdges, Cartoon).

    Such arranged sequences, together with drawings, are put together into parts of composite animation in the same program. The final editing of the film was done in the Adobe Premiere Pro program, where sound was added - voices, noises and music, image and sound synchronization, and the opening and closing credits.
