Romania Mobility

  • ROMANIAN MOBILITY

    13-19 March 2022

After this tough period in which we couldn't see each other phisically, we finally had the opportunity to host the mobility within the Erasmus + Project, " Music to all".

For a week, our school, Scoala Gimnazial nr 184, had the honour to host our partners (teachers and students), from Spain, Croatia, Lithuania, Turkey and Poland.

The first day we welcomed our partners with traditional dances performed by our students, followed by an ice breaking exercise in order for the students to get to know each other.

After the welcoming reception, we had the first workshop: World music day! - all the partners had to present how they celebrated in their countries.

The workshop was followed by a guessing game - kahoot -and here students had to guess the song in order to get points.

In the afternoon we prepared the project opening ceremony and we tried to bring a little piece of Romania through songs, dance, monologues, body percution, etc.

The following day, started with Corporal percution, the main activity we had to do during this mobility, and everybody learned how to use body or different objects in order to make music.

In the following workshop we learned traditional dances from the countries involved in the project.

In the afternoon we visited the Village Museum and the teams had  to solve some challanges in order to learn more about  Romanian villages.

On Wednesday, each country had presentations about leading folk singers  and presentations  about musicians with disabilities, followed by teacher's meeting where we discussed about the following mobility in Croatia and the respnsabilities we have till then.

In the second part of the day, we had the oportunity to see the Palace of Parliament from Bucharest, the second largest building in the world.

The fourth day found us at Bran Castle, to meet with Count Dracula and his castle full of rich history.

And in the last day we visited the Municipality in Bucharest and we were  also proud to offer our guests the Attendance Certificates after a long and beautiful week.
