  • Our mobilities

    Visiting Spain

In the years 2019-2021, we will implement the goals of the project entitled: Music to all. Our partners are schools from: Spain, Lithuania, Croatia, Turkey and Romania.
On November 24-29, 2019, the first working organizational meeting of teachers took place. The hosts of the meeting were the Spanish school Colegio Público Lope de Vega in Leganés.

    Beautiful journey

During our stay in Spain, together with teachers from all schools, we planned in detail work on a project, the subject of which relates to what all nations have in common, regardless of the language they use and in which part of Europe they live. Music, although its faces are different, moves each of us and as such, it becomes a universal means of communication.

    What did we learn?

During our stay in Spain, we also had the opportunity to visit a number of cultural gems, including the Roman aqueduct built in the 1st century AD and the medieval Alcázar castle in Segovia (probably Walt Disney himself was inspired by this view, creating the scenery for the Sleeping Beauty), multicultural Toledo and Madrid, where we were the audience of the opera at the Zarzuela Show.

    Mobility to Lithuania

On October 3-9, 2021, students and teachers of our school took part in a project meeting in Kybartai, Lithuania. In just a few days, we had the opportunity to:
    - meet the mayor of the city
    - go to Vilnius, where the former Lithuanian prime minister was waiting for us: Algirdas Butkevičius,
    - see the Gate of Dawn and the place where the Dalai Lama spoke
    - see small, picturesque Lithuanian towns,
    - listen to stories about the difficult neighborhood with the Kaliningrad Oblast,
    - establish new relationships with Croatian, Spanish, Turkish, Lithuanian and Romanian students,
    - visit the Lithuanian Parliament
    - climb the hill to watch Vilnius at night standing next to the Gediminas tower ...

    Mobility to Croatia

On 04/04-09/04 another meeting was held as part of the Erasmus + project "Music to All". We stayed at the Croatian school. Branimira Markovic in Ravna Gora, Croatia. During these few days, we could participate in very interesting music workshops covering the national dances of the countries participating in the project, as well as choral and integration workshops. In addition, we visited fantastic places in northern Croatia, including Plitvice Jezera, or the city of Rijeka. We were able to experience the Balkan culture, try the local cuisine and, most of all, share our experiences and integrate with other project participants.

    Croatia

To sum up the mobility, we had the opportunity to admire the moving performances of Croatian students and local artists, and finally to present the fruits of previous workshops ourselves during a performance at a local community center. There was also a bit of sport. On the penultimate day of our stay, we were invited by the mayor of Ravna Gora to the bowling alley.

    Romania mobility

Trip to Romania as part of the ERASMUS + Music to All project
On March 13-19, students and teachers of our school took part in project meetings in Bucharest, Romania. It was a great time to learn not only about the culture of this country, but also to learn many interesting things about folk music - because that was the main purpose of this trip.
The first day is primarily for students and teachers to get to know each other, meetings at school and the opening ceremony. We also proved ourselves in guessing music tracks and other music-related puzzles - on the Kahoot platform, the Croatian group prepared a game that our team won!

    More about our Romanian trip!

On the second day we had a day filled with workshops - dance - learning a selected dance from each country, drums - everything can be used as a musical instrument. We also visited the Village Museum - open-air museum. We had as many as 25 different tasks to complete - it was not easy but we did our best!

    Romanian journey

On the fourth day, we went on a day trip to the medieval Bran Castle, the famous seat of Count Dracula. He greeted there for the snow that we didn't quite expect!
On the last day, after the award ceremony for participation in all competitions, we went to the meeting at the Bucharest City Hall. We watched two films about the city, we had a meeting with the representative of the Mayor.
Every day we also had the opportunity to try traditional Romanian dishes, spend time together and make friends.
