Technological field
This last mobility try to understand the importance of technology and their uses in Roman empire. They developed new inventions and improved other existents such as watermills, aqueducts, catapults and so much more.
Before going to Calaf, the students searched for 3D Roman technological objects and designed new ones. They learnt about these objects and study different characteristics like anatomical, functional, historical ones. This studies were used to create different presentations about the objects.
This 5th and last mobility took place in Calaf during the week between the 9th and the 13th of may in 2020. A total of 24 students were involved in the mobility from Catalonia, Czech Republic and Romania. Students from abroad were hosted in Catalan family houses.
These were our daily tasks:
- On Monday there was a wellcome event at the library, students could see their final works on 3D and presented their works. They also started to build catapults at the workshop, stayed at different lessons and played a QR game in the streets of Calaf.
- During Tuesday there was an all day trip to Empuries archaelogical site and museum.
- On Wednesday we finished the catapults and we played a game throwing marbles. Winners won an Erasmus keychain. There was a new task based on social networks using Instagram. Finally, we had lunch together at the canteen.
- During Thursday there was a trip to Sitges. Erasmus team visited the city and Cau Ferrat and Maricel Palace museums. Cau Ferrat was a house full of Catalan Modernism artists like Alexandre de Riquer (the same name as Calaf high-school).
- On Friday there was a walk to countryside and a final celebration.
We created assessments to check the different kinds of work.
