Historical field
Hello world! These are all the students that participate in the first mobility that took place in Calaf between 19th and 23th of November in 2018. There were 35 students of diferent ages, from 13 to 16 years old, and the countries that participate in our project: Romania, Czech Republic, Catalonia and Greece.
They worked hard and tried to do their best with different activities related on the classic origins of Europe and the specific field of ancient history. These was their schedule plan:
Activities during the week
Some of the tasks were prepared by the students before the mobility at each high-school one month ago:
- The students prepared and studyed the kidnapping myth of Europe in English and their mother language. The pupils also investigated why Europe continent and Euro currency have their name.
- Every student of each country created a logo for the Erasmus project.
- They worked with paintings and sculpture about the kidnapping myth. They created presentations and searched information.
- They generated Roman empire maps with Google maps emphasizing each country.
During the week the students worked:
- Presenting the Europe myth and their presentations. National teams.
- Presenting the logo design created by each school and choosing one of them.
- Working with timelines online of the Roman empire periods. Four international groups.
- Creating ancient maps of Roman empire with Google Maps with specific regards to the territory of each country. National team of 3 pupils.
- Recording, creating and editing videos with sountrack and oral explanations about the Roman sites visited (Roman Barcelona, Tarragona and Altafulla). Internation groups.
- And of course practising a lot the English language and enjoying the time with new friends.
The working groups were mixed from different countries and we, the teachers, hope that they enjoyed a lot their first meeting.
