EXCHANGING LETTERS & MAKING PADLET BOARDS & INTRODUCING STUDENTS INTO TWINSPACE
One of the first tasks planned for our students involved activities helping students get to know each other. We asked the younger students what they would like to do and they voted for writing letters - traditional paper letters :) Students aged 12 from Poland wrote letters to their pen pals from Carcassonne. In the following subpages you will be able to read our short reports and see photos from this activity as well as watch students letters or presentations documenting their work.
Younger students aged 11 - 12 exchanged traditional letters due to their wish to do so.
Older students aged 13 - 15 worked on padlets. They posted messages presenting themselves, their hobbies, etc. and their pen pals were asked to respond online, too.
We also introduced our students into TwinSpace. Some students accepted the suggestion to complete their profiles and update descriptions if they were out of date. Unfortunately, the change of TwinSpace system delayed some of our work here as we needed time to learn to use it and teach students to operate here.
