Our last project task with the older French and Polish penpals is a follow-up activity that closes the study of segregation and discrimination in the USA. Students of both countries worked to do some research on the subject. The French students worked in pairs to write a speech in a Martin Luther King way to defend a cause close to their hearts. The Polish students turned to explore the subject of the civil rights movement and its legacy and discuss its consequences.

WE ALL SEE THIS LAST TASK AS A STARTING POINT FOR ANOTHER PROJECT THAT COULD ADDRESS THE PROBLEMS OF DISCRIMINATION WHICH HAVE NOT DISAPPEARED AND TEND TO REAPPEAR IN OUR SOCIETIES. MARTIN LUTHER KING'S MESSAGE IS STILL VALID AND SHOULD BE REMEMBERED BY ALL THE PEOPLE.
