In March 2019, Polish 6th graders decided to share their Easter treaditions with the French pen pals by making a padlet about it for them. The article below summarises the activities.

SPRING 2019: EASTER IN POLAND: HOW DO WE CELEBRATE IT?

Dear Pen Pals,

Here's a padlet presenting our Easter traditions. We worked on it in April. It describes how people usually celebrate Lent - a 40-day long period beofre Easter.

First, we watched a film about Easter market in Kraków and talked about th colourful Easter decorations. You can watch the film here:

Then students talked in groups about their favourite Easter moments. 

Finally, we got down to making the padlet. We described the Holy Week which starts with Palm Sunday and leads towards Easter celebrations. Students worked on a padlet board in groups or individually depending on their preferences.
