    1 - Germany

    Germany, a federal republic, has the largest population of any EU country. Its territory stretches from the North Sea and the Baltic in the north to the Alps in the south.
    German is the most widely spoken first language in the European Union. Germany is the world’s third largest economy, producing automobiles, precision engineering products, electronic and communications equipment, chemicals and pharmaceuticals. Germany is known as the land of poets and thinkers. It is home to great writers and famous composers such as Goethe, Grass, Bach and Beethoven.
    Germany is Europe’s second largest beer consumer.
    The first book to ever be printed was the Bible by Gutenberg in the 1450s in Germany.

    2 - Romania

    Romania is a country located in Southeastern Europe. It’s the 12th largest country and the 7th most populous of the European Union, with a population of about 19 million people. The capital city is Bucharest. The country joined the European Union in 2007.
    It is a semi-presidential republic and its flag has 3 vertical stripes, beginning from the flagpole: blue, yellow and red

    The climate is temperate and continental.
    Romania’s economy is based on agriculture but the country has a large industrial capacity potential.
    Romanians have many traditional crafts: for example they paint eggs with particular patterns, they trim the wood or they create masks (that represent animals) and textiles.

    3 - Portugal

    Portugal is the oldest country in Europe with the same defined borders since 1139. It is a southern European country on the Iberian Peninsula, bordering Spain. Its location on the Atlantic Ocean has influenced many aspects of its culture: salt cod and grilled sardines are national dishes, the Algarve’s beaches are a major destination and much of the nation’s architecture dates to the 1500s-1800s, when Portugal had a powerful maritime empire that lasted six centuries.
    Portugal is famous for the production of Port Wine, which is produced in the Douro Valley in Northern Portugal.
    Portugal is the world’s leading cork producer.
    Portuguese is the official language of 9 countries with over 236 million people speaking it around the world.

    4 - The UK

    The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is a union of four countries: England,Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
    It has a population of about 65 million people and the capital city is London.

    The climate is temperate
    The UK’s economy is highly developed and market-oriented, in fact it is the fifth-largest national economy in the world.
    London is home to 557 art galleries and it can be considered as a global capital of culture.

    5a - Northern Italy

    Northern Italy is rich in UNESCO World Heritage like the mountain range of the Dolomites, the historical centres of Florence, Pisa and the lagoon of Venice. The shipbuilding industry, mainly based in Genoa and Monfalcone is a leading sector in Europe with more than 4 million tons of cruise ships produced. The Pharmaceutical Sector is increasing in the industrial area of Milan together with 3.2% of glasses global exports represented by Luxottica.
    Flowers from Sanremo have successfully entered the European market while the White Marble from Carrara Caves has reached 360 million in the first half of 2017.

    5b - Southern Italy

    Apart from fashion, cars and interior design, Italy means also quality food, UNESCO World Heritage sites and warm Mediterranean climate.
    “Sassi di Matera” is the oldest city in Italy and among the first human settlements in Europe. In 2019 it will be the capital of culture, expecting around 700 thousand visitors. In fact 50% of the World UNESCO Heritage is found in Italy, being 26.4% of those in the south of the country such as Pompei and Paestum.
    Southern Italy is also known as the top exporter of Mozzarella. We are also famous for 538 different types of olive oil and wine.
