Job Interview questions

    The Interview

    One person from each country will be interviewed by a UK Employer. Each google meeting will have a teacher from the country in the meeting observing the process and providing support if required. The remaining students in the group will observe.

    The Interviewer will introduce themselves and ask the identified student the following questions:  

     

    1. Tell me about yourself, describing your personal skills and attributes? 
    2. What leadership qualities do you have and can you give me an example of when you have demonstrated one / some of those qualities? 
    3. Being reflective is a very important part of improving your performance – what do you consider to be your areas to develop? 
    4. Outline a significant achievement or success that you have recently had and why was it successful? 
    5. Describe a problem that you have had to overcome and how you managed the solution?
    6. Ensuring you keep up to date with your own professional development/training is very important – how do you ensure that you keep yourself up to date with what is going on in your profession? 
    7. You are applying for a job in another country what challenges will this bring and how do you propose to manage them?
    8. Where do you see yourself in five years’ time?
    9. Do you have any questions to ask? 

     

    The employer may ask you other questions as appropriate 

     

     

    The interviewee / other group members will have an  opportunity ask general questions of the employer about recruitment practice in the UK
