  • WHAT HAS HAPPENED AT SCHOOL????!!!!

    [TR] SCHOOL UNIFORM RULE

    School uniform is optional in my country. Parents are asked for their prefrence. So, in my school the decision to wear school uniform was taken by the majority of our parents. Because of that all student must wear their school uniforms. If one does not obey this rule, at first they get a warning from school administration. what is more, teachers may not admit such a student into the class. If they break the rule again they get a dicipline punishment.

    Often some students get caught with some pieces of clothes against the rule. (Clothes like jeans, hoodies, sweatshirts...)

    [TR] PHONE RULE

    In our school, students are not allowed to use their phones during classes. We have to put them into mini phone boxes in our classrooms, before we start the class. However, we can use them during the lunch break and after the school. If someone uses their phone without permission and gets cought teachers seize the phone for a week. If the student breaks the rule twice, their phone is seized for the whole term.

    GR- Mobile phones

    This sunny morning Mitsos was going to school, when he remembered it was Monday. This meant that his first lesson of the day was ancient greek. He hated this subject. Before entering the classroom, he found out that his best friend was not there. What a tragedy! Ten minutes had passed and Mitsos already got bored. He could easily have fallen into sleep if it wasn't for his teacher's loud voice. Fortunately, his mobile phone was in his pocket. So, he decided to play secretely his favourite mobile game, PUBG. Suddenly, he got a text message from his friend. The volume of his phone was left turned on.. The notification sound filled the air in the classroom and, of course, teacher's ears! She grabbed the phone from Mitsos' hands and ordered him to visit the head master's office during break. Mitsos was in real trouble! by Danis E.

    GR- Late for school

    The alarm next to Katerina' s nightstand didn't ring again. She probably forgot to turn it on for the third time in a row. So she wasn't surprised when her mother walked in her room furious. She was going to miss her first class again... She got dressed pretty fast and rushed to school just to realise that she was at least 10 minutes late. Maybe her literature teacher would allow her to get in the class and not send her to wait outside. But she was wrong… Her teacher scolded her for being late again and told her that if she continued like this, she might even reach the limit of 114 hour absences per year. That meant that she would have to repeat the year! Sophie, the student with the higher grades, that is the absence book holder, wrote down her name. What a trouble! by Katerina A.

    IT - A FIRE IN THE CLASSROOM

    In the classroom during the lesson, somebody plays with the lighter in the pencil-case instead of paying attention. When the teacher looks at him he drops the lighter into the pencil-case while lighting and it causes a small fire breaks out as there was the correcting-fluid inside. The fire sets off the alarm ant the mess starts..

    IT - DISCRIMINATORY SENTENCES

    Somebody has written on the classroom wall some discriminatory sentences against a mate of his. One of the teachers could identify them from their handwriting.

    BG - Cheating on a test

    Ivan had a Math test, but he didn't study at home. He hoped that he could cheat. Yes, he hoped he would do it. He left only his cell phone case in the phone organizer in class, but his phone was with him. His friend did the same and soon Ivan got the answers of the tasks sent. That was good but …

    PL No homework-no mercy

    Mat didn't do his homework.
    He hoped to use one of the legal excuses that make it possible for a student to be unprepared a few times during the school year. One of them is the ‘np’ - ‘not prepared’ option. At the beginning of the school year we get one 'np' per term, which is two per school year. Another option is the ‘lucky number’ - every morning the school computer chooses one number from a class list (one number cannot be selected more than once a month, however). Unfortunately for Mat, he forgot he had used his ‘np’ before. What’s more, the computer drew a different lucky number on that day, which meant Max got the worst mark - a ’one’.
    Let’s hope at least he will learn a lesson from that incident.

    PL Escape

    In our school students mustn’t leave school before all their lessons finish unless they notify the headteacher and get his permission. One day two girls decided to get away from school without notifying the headteacher. They got a warning from the form teacher and got a written remark in the register. In addition, their parents were called to school. Now they have to talk to the school pedagogist and career advisor once a month as part of their correctional programme.

    PL MEMES NOT AS COOL AS YOU THINK

    A few months ago an unpleasant situation took place in our school. Our schoolmate hated one of the teachers. He made an offensive meme with the teacher's photo. When it was reported, he was punished with the headmaster‘s reprimand. Also, his parents were called to school and he was made to sign a contract. If he doesn’t keep to it, he could be suspended in student's laws or even expelled from school for his behavior.

    GR-Cheating in the final exams

    It was the last day of school, the day of the algebra final exam. Eleni took her seat and anxiously waited for the teacher to hand out the papers. In order to successfully pass the exam should have a total grade of 34. Otherwise she should take the exam again at the beginning of the school year. She took a close look at the problems and she instantly realized that she wasn’t going to pass the exam without cheating. She started peeking at her classmate's paper but unfortunately the teacher noticed her and told her to focus on her own. She tried once more but she was threatened to be eliminated. Finally, she attempted using the notes written on a little piece of paper (skonaki). She had almost achieved her goal when another teacher noticed Eleni and excluded her from the exam process.
