Again, during the mobility in Poland students had the opportunity to participate in our fifth photomath contest. The idea of this activity is that students can appreciate the presence of maths in places which they have visited during the mobility.
Photos attending to the contest can be seen in this link: https://photos.app.goo.gl/2syD8MAB48uu642B9
Thanks every student for participating and thanks teachers for encouraging them to do it. Finally to hightlight again the high level of this contest. Congratulations to the winners.
Winner
TITLE: “I see you”
PHOTO TAKEN BY: Sara Azzi (Italy)
DESCRIPTION: I took this photo under the main lamp in the salt mine of Wieliczka. The black circle in the centre of the photo remind me of the pupil of an eye. The diamonds around the circle are arranged in a radial pattern and they form lines around the main circle. These shiny lines remind me of the irid of an eye. That’s the reason why I choose the title “I see you”
Second Position.
Title: The simmetry in the nature.
Photo taken by: Alicia Castillo (Spain)
Description: the reflection on the water show us a perfect replica of the Tarnow Mauzoleum Bema, and the base constitutes its axis of simmetry.
