Impressions of Italy.
Mobility in Spain was organized very well and the hospitality was warm and friendly. The activities were very interesting and fully correct for the project's topic: Math everywher! The most impressive vist was the Alhambra of Granada because in Italy we have nothing so big and so beautiful left by the Arab culture. We brought home many good memories, but also many interesting topics to work on in the future.
Impressions of Croatia.
The first mobility in Spain was very successful. It was very well organized; students studied math, learnt about architecture and Spanish culture, visited amazing historic sites. The host students and teachers were really welcoming. Our students were very sad leaving Alcala la Real.It was great experience for students and teachers.
Portuguese impressions.
The Spanish mobility (19th to 23rd November) was a very good start-up to encourage all the other participating countries to thrive to do their best in order to fully achieve the goals of this project. The city is beautiful, the activities were carefully organized, the maths challenges really made us think, the host students, families and teachers were really welcoming but what surprised me the most was the ease with which students interacted. That was truly amazing! Thank you to all of you who have worked so hard to provide us with such lovely moments!
Polish impressions.
The first mobility in Alcala la Real has been a great success. We spent there an amazing week full of various project activities (gymkanas, lectures, flamenco, trivial and many others). Image people of six nationalities in one place and at the same time! They got to know each other, spoke using the English language, solved maths problems, learnt about Spanish culture and history. I really appreciate the involvement of so many Spanish teachers in preparing and implementing all the tasks and challenges.
In a nutshell, unforgettable experience both for the students and the teachers!
Impressions from United Kingdom
The trip to Alcala la Real was really enjoyable, we had a great time and enjoyed a lot of very interesting activities. It was well organised and the Maths challenges were really good. I think we would have liked more time at Alhambra Palace. Students got on really well with each other. Overall a very enjoyable week.
Spanish opinion as general and local coordinator.
As local coordinator and general coordinator of this Erasmus+ I confess that I felt very proud of how all the programme of activities was carried out and also for every student and teacher participating in the first mobility, every single person understood the importance of participating in an Erasmus+ project and all of us could build a wonderful atmosphere of convivence and european feeling.
When we began at the beginning of October to work in the project knowing that at the middle of November we’ll have the first mobility we were conscious that we didn’t have much time to organize the mobility and we had to be efficient and also to be very well organized in order to have everything prepared. We admitted it wasn’t easy because when you have the responsibility to be the coordinator, first mobility show the way or the line for future mobilities. It was important to do it well. I was lucky because I wasn’t alone. Nearly 15 teachers joined to the project. For most of them it was their first time participating in a Erasmus+ project so they were very excited but without any experience so we need to coordinate our work. Apart from that, our students were also exciting and nervous because it was their first time participating in a project like that. But we were so happy and our desires of doing well won to any possible difficulty we had to face in our way.
So, step by step and not becaming crazy in despite of any inconvenience we began to prepare activities doing meetings between teachers, we organized meetings with families, students to explain about our project, we fixed shuttles, hotels, …, Also we booked and bought tickets for visiting monuments and interesting places in Alcalá la Real and Granada. Everything was doing with one idea and thinking that money of the European Union should be used for doing activities according to the targets of the project. For me it was very important to have the support of the other coordinators. Everyone of them tried to do their best in order to help us to organize the first mobility. So thanks to them for doing everything easier.
Finally, when we completed all the activities in the programme and everybody was happy, of course we also felt so happy because we had spent so many time preparing everything and working together to be succeed and our success was just everybody had a good time and enjoyed the mobility in our Erasmus+ project. I’ve never forgotten students singing and dancing together in a common language. “language of friendship”.
