    Our school is one of the largest in the city, it has 805 students and about 60 teachers. We have excellent housing conditions (separate wing for early school classes, 3 computer rooms, language rooms, common room), playground and many sports facilities (football pitches, treadmill, Tennis Court and ice rink in winter).

    We develop pupils' talents and interests. We have a wide range of extracurricular activities, “the white schools” in winter (learning how to ski), tourism, English theatre group, a school band, creative recycling, “Fit in Deutsch” group and many more.

    The school is involved in numerous events organized for the benefit of the local community. This involvement manifests itself mainly in the work of students, carried out under the supervision of the teaching staff. We implement the following programs: time for health, safe school, breakfast gives power, school of talent hunters, family friendly school, the white schools, charitable activities, district festival of foreign songs and others.

    Our students are 6-15 years old, they learn English from the 1st grade, in the 7th grade, they learn German language as well.

    OUR PROJECT TEAM

    Emilia is 14 years old. She’s interested in photography and music. Her favourite subject is biology. Her expectations from this project is to help her improve English skills and learn something about other countries’ history and culture.

    Daria is 14. She likes learning English and other languages. She likes dancing as well. Her favourite dish is pasta with spinach. She expects to discover new countries and languages.

    Oliwia is 14 years old. Her hobby is theatre and rollerblading. Her favourite food are all sweets, especially gummies. In the future she wants to be a doctor. Her dream is to travel around the world. She expects from the project to improve her communication skills.

    Gabriela is 14. She’s interested in photography, films, TV series. She loves reading books. She expects to meet new people, learn about different cultures, visit new places.

    Kasia is 14 years old. She loves skiing, singing and dancing. She is physically active person, she likes doing gymnastics and reading books. She expects from the project to improve her English skills, learn about other countries’ educational system.

    Kinga is 14. She likes animals and sports. She’s interested in medicine. She wants to be a surgeon in the future. She would like to visit different places, meet new people and improve her foreign language skills.

    Anastazja is 14 years old. She’s interested in music. She likes dancing and fashion. She loves make-up and clothes. In the future, she wants to be a lawyer. She expects to meet new people, have fun and learn about other countries.

    Sylwia is 14. She loves drawing. She would like to meet new people, learn about different cultures and improve her English language skills.

    Milena is 14. She’s keen on drawing and singing. She expects to meet new people, visit interesting places.

    Lidia is 14 years old. She’ interested in learning languages, astrophysics, physics and cosmology. She loves reading practically everything but mostly science-fiction and fantasy books. She’s also into rollerskating and drawing. She expects to improve her language skills in real-life situations, learn about other countries and make new friendships.

    Ewa S. is a teacher of German and English languages. She likes jogging and skiing in the winter. She is fascinated by traveling and learning about other cultures, so participating in the project will allow her students to see other countries, get to know peers from Europe and in practice speak English. For teachers, the project is important because it will allow for the exchange of experiences.

    Agnieszka G. – English teacher. She likes reading books and cycling. She’s into good movies. From the project she expects to meet new people, learn about different cultures, learn many new things and methods that will allow her to conduct interesting and fascinating lessons.
