TECHNOLOGY LITERACY

  • Technology literacy is the ability of an individual, working independently and with others, to responsibly, appropriately and effectively use technology tools to access, manage, integrate, evaluate, create and communicate information.

    The project was focused on improving knowledge in Physics, Maths, History, IT, Citizenship, French and English. 

    Through different avtivities, we tried to introduce some new useful IT tools to our pupils since one of our focus was improving pupils' knowledge in IT.

    Prezi ana Power Point were used for different presentations.

    Pupils used Canva, a graphic-design tool website to make posters.

    To chat with each other, students used a Google Hangout application, eTwinning forums, Skype, WhatsApp.  

    QR code reader - QR is short for Quick Response (they can be read quickly by a cell phone). They are used to take a piece of information from a transitory media and put it in to pupils’ cell phones.

    Issue is a digital discovery and publishing platform used by pupils in order to create French/Serbian/English Dictionary.

    Edpuzzle was used for making a video about critical thinking as one of our lessons.

    AnswerGarden was used to gather pupils’ feedback.

    Tricider was the tool we used to vote on the subject of the quiz. Padlet was used to evaluate the quiz, while Google Drive was used to create a project evaluation questionnaire.

    Video materials were processed using Windows Movie Maker, Kizoa and Youtube while the sound was processed using Power Sound Editor.  

    Newspaper generator, Makemynewspaper, News Generator, Break Your Own News are free online newspaper generators used by our pupils in order to create their fake news and fake newspaper articles. 

    Joomag we used to create e-book as a part of several final products.
