Here is a simple glossary referring to easy words that can be useful to present your own environment. Each of the member has to prepare a short and very easy presentation of a typical environment in your country. We are going to do it as well: we are going to present a natural area that you will visit when you are in Roncadelle. The aim of this work is to enable pupils to use their simple English to communicate to the others a part of their living. Each group will have 15 minutes to do this in Italy. Talking about biodiversity, it is important to say what typical animals and trees or flowers can be found in this area. Each one can use a personal way to do this: they can use a power point presentation, they can make a short video, they can select and show some slides. Everything will be presented with a short sentence that the children are going to say or to read. After the glossary, that should be translated in each language as I am going to do in Italian, you’ll find a simple factfile that can be useful as a guide to prepare the presentation.
Then you’ll find some simple activities that your pupils can do just to memorize the words offered in the glossary.
