About the Project
Nowadays,the environment is constantly changing. In the past centuries environmental problems like mass extinctions were caused by events such as volcanic eruptions, asteroid strikes, etc.Unlike, the current environmental crisis is caused by human actions.
Our project will focus on the environmental protection through action. We aim to become increasingly aware of the environmental problems,while reconnecting with our natural/cultural heritage. We are going to work about the environment, in different perspective: Our school environment, environmental issues, environment in art, recycling, ecology, herbs, gardening and eco-games.
TARGETS
During our work with the project, we want all the participants to learn more about each other, about ourselves, our schools, cities, countries, our similarities and differences. We learn of the important of taking good care of our environment.
Teachers will:
- exchange ideas and experiences, through teamwork.
- collaborate with different type of groups (other schools, parents etc)
- use ICT (videos, photos, e-books etc)
WORKING PROCESS
During this project, we’ll have a specific theme for each month.
September - Eco teams: Brainstorming around what should we learn - what do we want to learn. Each participating preschool presents its preschool, city and country. Everyone creates a corner at their preschool for the project. A video conference between the children where we introduce ourselves to each other.

RESULTS
• We’ll learn about each other’s environment, see similarities and differences
• We’ll learn about the importance of taking care of our environment - No one can do everything, but everyone can do something
• We’ll recycle
• We’ll learn a few words in many languages
• We’ll learn about herbs and gardening
• We’ll learn each other new games
• We’ll have fun together! Also at the end, a video or an e-book will be created, including all the activities.
