The aims of the project

    The aims of the project are:  
    - shaping social attitudes based on openness, tolerance and empathy with visually impaired people,  
    - increasing the integration of blind people with social environment and improving their functioning in the society,  
    - preparing society to help visually impaired people in the right way and to notice their problems,  
    - preventing social exclusion of people with visual impairment,  
    - including as many people as possible into celebrating White Cane Safety Day, i.e. kindergartens, schools, local governments and other organisations.  
     
    We kindly ask you to join the action “I can’t see you, but you can see me” by conducting activities with children and youth (for example: lectures, assemblies, lessons, presentations etc. ). The activities should concern the abilities and needs of blind and visually impaired people. You can also join by taking part in events suggested by the organiser in the program.
