What Turkish learnt about Latvia

Thanks to our project ''ROOTS'' Turkish students learned quite useful and interesting things about our European partners.

As Latvians ; Latvians are mostly tall and thin with blue eyes and blonde hair.

Latvians have cold emotions but they love animals,natüre and kids.

All Latvians are hardworking and they like teamwork.

They never lie .

All Latvians like talking about politics.

They love eating potatoes and they like drinking beer.

All Latvians like music and and all of them can sing and dance very well.

Ice-hockey is their favourite sport.

Riga is the capital and the largest city of Latvia.Oldriga is the historical center of Riga.

Latvia doesn’t have mountains but it has a lot of lakes,rivers,meadoes and forests.

In Latvia , there are approximately 100 hundred years old trees but they look small in size.

Riga was the European capital of culture in 2014.

If you g oto Riga,you should visit thr Riga’s medieval castle,The house of Blackheads,The Freedom Monument,The Powder Tower,The national Library of Latvia,the cathedral,railway,the central market , many other churches and the Latvian National Opera.

I’d like to go to Riga.
