    The Beginning of something great

This image is great because it shows what is important about Erasmus+ Projects: students from different countries are meeting and spending time together. I like seeing something like this happening very much! So for me it was a great experience of meeting foreigners and then being allowed to find new friends in them.
    Bernd S. from Germany

    Perfect thing

The person who I hosted was really good. I thought that she was not going to speak at all and that she was going to be so shy but she was not. The activities we did were so good, and so interesting too.In summary, I enjoed a lot. It is an experience to live at least one time in a lifetime.

    Kleber

I love this trip so much! This have been a great experience for me and my friends. I have learned so much that I can use in my life back in sweden. I even liked the rain. I will remeber the churros and the croquettas. Everyone should be a part of this because you get to learn a lot of new things. I have gotten many new friends. A thing that I will remeber as something fun but at the time was not fun is when I lost my suitcase.

    Portugal team in Spain: Rubina

I loved this experience because everything was new, I got to know many new people and made new friends. I have loved to be at my host family's home, they were all very nice and they treated me like their daughter. I've been able to practice my english and also a little bit of spanish. This was an amazing experience that has been life changing.

    Carolina's experience in Spain

This experience is being so good, I enjoy Astúrias and the weather. I really like my host family,I feel like I'm home. I made lots of new friends, and learned new things.

I hope to come back soon :)

    Daniela´s experience

It was an amazing journey and also an experience that I won´t forget!! It was a nice way to visit different places which I never thought I would visit!! Moreover, I made a lot of friends who I will remember....

    Maja's experience in Spain

I am having a great time here in Spain!
I've met a lot of new people and learned a lot of new things. We have gone on many field trips and guides which I enjoyed a lot. The cities we visited were Cudillero, Aviles and Oviedo and it was interesting hearing about their culture. The churros in Aviles were especially great!
I've also tried a lot of new food which I don't really remember the names of, but it tasted good.
Staying with a lovely host family was a fun and new experience!

    Lucia Arias,Spain

For me this experience has been the first in which I have worked with boys and girls in other countries. It has been amazing!!! I have met many people and I loved it! I hope to continue talking with them for a long time through social networks and I have hosted a student from Sweden. I'm sure I'll live something like this again. I am exciting to be able to go to Sweden and meet more people and keep improving my English.

    Daniela from Portugal

It was really nice, but I don't like the weather. I enjoy the food.

    A new experience

This week we´ve been receiving some students in our houses and high school, in the afternoon we did a lot of activities, and all of us enjoyed it. My favourite one was visiting Cudillero (and also my guest student's) and showing my home town to the other student's.
    Estela, from Spain.

    Mia Geretshauser , Germany:

For me this week was a great experience. I really enjoyed doing projects with people my age from different countries. During the week I got to know that although we are from different countries, we are all the same. My host family was really friendly like all the other people. In this week I learned that doing projects can be fun and interesting. I am really looking forward to the week in Germany and hopefully I am allowed to fly to another country.

    Ana Shuye's experience

This is a very nice pic of the first day, when Carol and Leonor arrived to Asturias. It was taken in Luarca. Now I'm going to tell you a brief opinion about my experience in this program. I think this experience has been one of the most important and cool things in life. I had the opportunity to know nice new people. I think that this programs enrich a lot a person, because you learn how to communicate with foreign people and you can know a lot about others countries and languages. And I think that it is very important. At the same time we make friends, we're learning a lot of things. In my opinion, you can learn a lot hosting people, and it's great! I loved very much to host Carol and Leonor and I hope they have been enjoyed a lot!! I like them very much !

    Sweden Assemble

So I went in to this thinking that we were going to stay in school all day long. And now that the week has past I can tell you that we've done so much more. We've been to different visits and sights every day, we got to see lots och incredible architecture and buildings. And also of course, the churros. We learned that heritage isn't just boring buildings and old people. It's delicious food and traditions.

The worst part was losing our bags, an it wasn't actually that bad. The family's took so good care of us and I have eaten so much delicious food.
I also would like to say that this trip has taught me stuff that school never will be able to teach me.

    Carlos' experience

It was a great experience, better than I have imagined, comparing my culture to others that I didn't knew at all. The part that I really liked was cooperating with people from other coutries in a common project as it was the one named "Learning through service". In this project we, (Team Spain) had to make a presentation about an activity that could be carried out in Spain, so we choose cleaning the beaches that we have in Asturias, so that we learnt about how important was to conserve beaches clean.

    Patricia Fernández, Spain:

I have to say that for me this has been the best experience for me. I’ve loved it and the idea of having a host sister has been really great. I’ve enjoyed all the visits and I think that the travelers have enjoyed too. I had looking forward to their visit and I had been really nervous before they arrived. But then everything became good. I’m looking forward to visit Sweden 🇸🇪 and to meet my host family. An amazing experience.

    Work together

This is a picture in which we were working together in groups. It is a fantastic experience more than I had imagined. I have met nice people from other countries. I have learned a lot of things, like all of us are different and we have got many things to contribute among us. Also I was with my host sister and it was a wonderful experience. I was always happy and smiling. I hope we can repeat this experience next year.

    Experiences from Vicky and Sarah

After a long flight we were welcomed by our spanish host families. They gave us a nice place to stay.
One thing is the delicious food we had during the exchange.
We had a lot of fun doing acting exercises at the theatre. It was a new experience for us doing this work because we have never done something like that before.
The project helped us learning about heritages of the different countries and improving or english speaking skills because we were working in transnational groups.
It was interesting visiting Cudillero and it's surroundings. We got to know our exchange partners better when we spent time with them. We loved almost everything about this project and had a great time during this exchange. We don't have anything to complain about, well, exept that the time went by so fast.
We're looking forward to meeting you in Germany and the other countries again.
    Auf Wiedersehen!

    Leonor Silva

My experience in Spain was interesting and exceptional. It was a good opportunity to make new friends and improve my English! It was good because I got a new perpective of the "world", a globalized one, where countries and people have many differences but also many things in common.

My experience with foreing students- Coral

    This week has been great!!
In this week I have learnt a lot of things about the other countries and I have practised my English in a different way from what we do in class.
Also this week we did a lot of excursions, for example, to Cudillero, Oviedo and Avilés; drama classes, but without forgetting the reason why the rest of the foreing students are here: learn about the heritage; we did a SWOT about our country, after that we worked in mixed groups with people from other countries to show the rest of the groups things that need to improve in the different countries.
It was a funny experience, I would repeat it without thinking.

    Made in Sweden

Dear diary, I have been here for five days now and I am so proud of my self that I went on this vacation because it has been the best days in my whole life. The best thing have done yet was eating at Mcdonalds, beacause I didint know how the selfscanning machine worked, so I pressed on all the buttons and it didin´t work and it starting beeping. Hehehehehehehhehehhehehhehehhehehehhehehehhehheheh.
But I think that meeting new people was the most important thing that I did in Spain, but also learning new languages, for example I learned the word glue in german which is kleber. My host family were so nice to me when I came and they are so funny and always positive.

    :)

    Great day in the theatre.

This was our first day, here we have a photo in the theatre after doing some activities to get in touch with our new friends. They were very funny, we danced, we laughed... so in this activity we learned to show our real personality and not feel ashamed in front of the others.
    Irene and Carlos, Spain.

    Helena's experience in spain.

I had the time of my life here in Astúrias, it was amazing and life changing. I really liked my host family, they were really welcoming and lovely to me. Everything was really good: food, working with foreign students and even the weather.

    Doris The Explorer

My friends often call me Doris the Explorer as a joke, but I guess it’s kind of true :)
This past week I’ve been exploring many beautiful cities and different cultures. It has been an interesting journey full of new and fun experiences.
I’ve made new friends from different countries in Europe, acted in a weird play and danced Macarena in their gym hall. It was all very fun.
Cudillero, Aviles and Oviedo are very colorful cities with beautiful views and architecture, the only thing that sucked was the rain.
Aftet school I’ve been with my lovely host family and tried many new foods! I’ve never stayed with a host family before but I got paired up with a cool dude with generous parents and I’ve had a nice time with them.
To sum it up, I’m having an awesome time in Spain <3

My experience in Spain by Ana Gonçalves

My experience in Spain was absolutely unforgettable and very special for me. I had the luck to live in an amazing family who treated me like a daughter/sister. I also will never forget the friends that I made. Asturias is a green paradise although the rain disturbed a little, but never but never ruined it. I absolutely want to go again to Asturias to explore better the city and to be again with my host family, but maybe in summer :D
