LAST TWINBOARD: Final ONLINE Meeting 15th February 2021

  • Your final ideas on the project! (Students) - Thank you!

    Helena, Madeira

This project made one of my dreams come true. I had the opportunity to study for 2 months in Spain. I had the most amazing experience there. I was lucky enough to have a very welcoming host family that treated me as part of their family, and we still keep in touch to this day. The school helped me in every way possible, and there I made a lot of new friends.
This experience will be one of my favorite teenage year’s stories to tell my future kids.

    Daniela From Madeira

This project was a great opportunity for me. It gave me knowledge, culture, responsibility, adventures and friends that I didn’t have before. It changed the way I think and look at our heritage, with new and different eyes, eyes of pride. So, I would advise everyone to go to a project like this one! These are opportunities that change our lives and are unique!

[Vicky] A great experience! Take part in it!

My experience was so great and I learned a lot of new things, made many new friends and improved my english skills! It‘s amazing to see how different cultures can be and if you are ever offered to take part in a prpject like this I would totally recommend it to you!

    Lucia's opinion, Spain

What an amazing project! I have learned to many things during all that months, learning english , learn about heritage but the most important thing was that I could collect too many beautiful memories that i would like to repeat again!! THANK YOU GUYS!!!

    Leonor from Madeira Island

My experience in an Erasmus project was wonderful, amazing, so many adjectives to describe it, but the most important thing, were the things I have learnt during the whole experience: cultural aspects, languages, the lifestyle from different countries...
It gave me so many things that I will always treasure. I just have to say that anyone who can do something like this, please do it! It’s worth it!
It was one of the best experiences of my life!

    Incredible experience

At the end of this project I think I have to say that I`m really happy that i have participated. I made a lot of memories and a lot friends. Something i might not have been able to do without this project.I improved my english and had a great time. So my final words for this project which started 2 years ago (already?!): Thank yout to everybody who made this possible and to everyone I have met: Have a good time and I`ll miss all of you :D Sebastian/Germany

    My experience - Sandrine, Sweden

I would say to my future children: I had a lovely time during the exchange, I never got the chance to travel to Maderia but I got to host a girl from Spain. It was amazing, I carry the memories with me everyday and I built a strong friendship with my exchange student that I dont have with anyone else. This is something I will never forget.

    The best experience ever!

Amazing experience! Unforgettable. Makes you grow as a person. Improves your language skills. Making friends for a lifetime.
    Anneli/Sweden

    Leon from Germany

It was an amazing experience taking part in this Erasmus+ project!
I really loved working together with students from other countries in Kelheim/Regensburg as well as in Stockholm!
I have learned a lot about different cultures and my english improved by a lot.
And the most important thing: I got some nice new friends!
Thank you everybody for making this experience possible!

    Great experience

I think that the Erasmus+ program and exchange was a great experience I would really like to repeat. I made a lot of friends with people from other countries and learned about their culture and traditions. We always had a lot of fun, laughed and now share memories together. Looking back everything was perfect and absolutely great. I will never forget the time with you all!

Sharing is always worth the effort (Merche, Project Coordinator IES Selgas)

I have always believed that we should always look beyond what we have close to us. The world is huge and we are just a tiny part of it. That’s why, when I started teaching at IES Selgas, I decided to join their work in European projects. Then, one day I was given the possibility of coordinating this SHARE project. I was scared, but the project was so well designed that I knew everything would work out well.
It did. After the first coordination meeting, I got to know our partners, amazing people that wanted to make the most of our project and work hard to achieve it. And so it was: students’ exchanges, different activities, long term mobilities, excellent (and practical and useful) results, taking care of our heritage, learning to learn differently: helping our communities, friendships, lots of laughs and memorable moments shared…
    So worthwhile!

    Irene´s future conservation

In the future, I will tell my future children that participating in the erasmus+project was one of the best experiences in my teenage, in this proyect i got to meet a lot of new people from other countries, I learned to explain myself to people who did not share my language (spanish) and the most important is that i learnt about the other countries´history and culture herritage. Partipating in this project was worth it and i would with not doubt i would advise my children to take part in smilar projects.
    Irene, Spain

    Estela from Spain

Hi! I just want to tell you an advice, If you have an opportunity to learn, travel or try new things, just don't doubt it, you won't regret it! Time ago I traveled, met AMAZING people that I can still call family and also learned a lot (for free😏) and more expiriences, tanks to accepting the opportunity the erasmus project gave us! I can't imagine how I would be today if I had said no, as the people that I met are so important for me.

Its just the best project and experience [Johannes from Germany]

The project made the experience possible talking and working together with other students from an other country. I made a few new friends and it makes me happy to talk to them about all the stuff going now on.
I´m still in contact with swedish students.
You will never be able to experience it again in the same way like we did.

I just want to say thank you that I was able to do this experience.

[Rebecca] Taught me a lot of things!

The project was very awesome and funny and taught me a lot of things! I was able to make many good friends and even visit another country where I could experience the culture and so much more. The project also helped to improve my english skills overcome my shyness a little bit. So if you´re able to participate in a project like this, do it because it´s absolutely worth it!

    Bye Share Project!

What I would say to my children would be this: Erasmus Projects are one of the best things I have ever experienced. They, together with the IES SELGAS, have given me the opportunity to get to know and visit places I would never imagine I could have gone. With them I was able to meet wonderful people such as my host family, Hedda, Milla and their parents. I have been able to understand about how much heritage means to us and have been able to develop my technology skills, my English and my public speaking. I just have something to say: Thank you, thank you a lot.
