    Meeting someone you have only been in touch with online can be dangerous.

    You can report online abuse to the police.

     Keep your passwords secret and don't use short or obvious ones.

    Check your privacy settings - especially on social network sites.

    Stop and think before you post anything.

    Be aware of laws surrounding the Internet.

    Remember that oyur online actions have offline consequences.
