Activity A20
Activity “Children ideas”, later named “Make school a better place”, took place in all seven partner schools of the project VEAC; Values, the Essence of an Active Citizen.
Children were giving their own ideas how to change school. Results are presented on twinspace of the project https://twinspace.etwinning.net/5992/pages/page/224489.
Mobility to Zagreb
Between 8th and 12th May 2017 Osnovna škola Otona Ivekovića was hosting 24 pupils and 19 teachers from 6 partner schools from Estonia, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal and Turkey. It was a part of Blended mobility of pupils and short-term joint staff training event of the project VEAC; Values, the Essence of an Active Citizen.
We visited the Europe House, where we were greeted on behalf of this institution by Mrs Renata Bačić, and on behalf of the City of Zagreb by Mrs Katarina Miljković, assistant to the head of the City Office for Education, Culture and Sports. This visit was in honour of the celebrations of Europe Week.
We gave a message of children of our seven schools to Mrs Miljković, it was usb-stick with children ideas how to make school a better place.
