Mobility in Pilsen 3/2018

  • Within the international project "Traditions without frontiers - Journey around regional cultures" of the European Education Program Erasmus + KA 2 School Education, there was another project meeting of students and teachers of partner schools, this time hosted by our Czech partner - Secondary School of Business, Applied Art and Design.

The whole project was prepared by a partnership consisting of Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania and Lithuania. The main themes of this international project meeting are cultural heritage, UNESCO sights, regional traditions and culture.

Students increased their professional knowledge and skills, socio-cultural overview, and learned a foreign language, including professional topics. During the week, interesting workshops were held, students tried to present their English, worked together, discussed in international teams and communicated in foreign languages. Together with Czech students, they also explored the Pilsen region, Chodsko and Prague. Students had a very interesting professional program at the Czech Tourism Authority - CzechTourism, followed by practical foreign language accompaniment by Czech tourism students.

We are now continuing to work on the outputs of the project, namely to process the results of the survey on the state of cultural heritage and its applicability to tourism. We also deal with information on UNESCO sites in all five partner countries and we are working on preparing a brochure on the system of cultural and traditions protection in each country.
