Today we visited Cercizimbra institution where we got to see young adults with SEN prepare for active citizenship. Here these students were engaged in cookery classes, metal work and gardening, 

We were also shown a presentation on the Portuguese Educatonal system. 

Afterwards we visited two nearby schools and had a look at a few of their ASD classes and spoke to the staff about their ideas and methods of including these students with SEN in their classrooms.
