Connecting for an Intercultural Society

This project was run by the coordinator of programmes for inclusion of migrant students in Maribor. Blanka runs this programme between many schools and educational centres in Maribor, Slovenia's second largest city. She organised for us to have a tour of the primary and secondary/vocational schools in her programme that had a high percentage of migrant/disadvantaged students. The above is the slideshow presentation she showed us which outlines the features of this programme and the realistic challenges faced by educational staff and the community when a large influx of migrants entered Slovenia during and after the Balkan Wars and now, during the migrant crisis in the Mediterranean.
