Portici - Sunday 15th to Saturday 21st April 2018
Pupil Ambassadors from our ten schools came together for a week in Portici, Italy. They took part in a variety of joint activities and visits arranged with our partner school - I.C.S.C.Santagata-5° C.D.

Sunday 15th Arrival and transfer to Costa Alta resort in Piano di Sorrento
Monday 16th Guided excursion to Pompeii followed by Guided tour of Sorrento
Tuesday 17th Visit to lower secondary school - welcome ceremony and musical performance

Visit to SeaTurtle Recovery Centre – Anton Dohrn
Wednesday 18th Guided visit to Vesuvius and Naples sightseeing
Thursday 19th Full-day boat tour of Positano and Amalfi Coast
Friday 20th Visit to pre-primary and primary schools

1. My favourite activity was hiking in Mount Vesuvius, because it was the first time hiking, and the first time being on a volcano.
2. The best place I visited was Positano and Amalfi, because those two places were really pretty and nice.
3. My favourite food was pizza.
4. I made friends whit the French kids.
5. That climbing in to a volcano (in this case Mount Vesuvius) isn’t that scary.

7. My favourite ice cream flavours were strawberry, pistachio and stracciatella
8. That Pompeii was buried under ash, not lava.
9. Everyone in my class were interested how was it, did I like it.
