Little vets in action! Food campaigns

  • LITTLE VETS IN ACTION!

All the actions we've written on the commmon Spacedeck come reallity in this page. So, little by little Little vets are going to make different actions to solve pets problems that our villages are facing with our little friends.

Here we  add all the activities we've done to collaborate with shelters, assossiations... such as food collection, etc

Here there’s a video to sum up our food campaign actions in the schools!

Pretty Kitties visited shelter today, 26th of December and we handed in the foods that we gathered in a campaign for the homeless animals. They were so happy that they did a good thing for the animals and din't want to turn back from there.

According to our plan, it was today, the 18th of December 2017 that the Funny Parrots visited the dogs in the public shelter. We gathered 200 kg of dog food. We were welcomed by the veterinarian of the shelter who showed us the dogs' houses and explained some of the rules of  this kind of associations. There were good parts of our visit and also sad parts. The good parts were about care and love and the sad parts were about abandoning old dogs at the shelter and not being visited too often. The children were taught about responsibility for pets and adoption instead of shopping for dogs.

Two weeks ago the Funny Parrots started a school campaign for gathering dog food. We are going to make a Christmas surprise to all the dogs in the town shelter on 18th of December 2017. We spread the word with drawing of dogs on the school walls but also with posters and speeches in each and every class. All the students in our school are happy to help. Every day we receive dog food from them. We will come back with photos and info.

FUNNY PARROTS from ROMANIA started a school campaign in order to make our project known and sustained. We organised a workshop with students, teachers, mayor representatives and parents in order to explain the objectives of our inquiry. Each page on the etwinning space was opened and explained, we showed photos and videos. Teacher Alina Nicolae, our Educational Councellor, dedicated two pages of our school newspaper "The Sun's Smile" to our project. She also spread the word on our school's Facebook page.

Little hamsters from Catalonia started making the posters for our food collection campaign in December as we proposed in the social actions mind map! The oldest mates from the school came to help us!

Little vets posters for the food collection are ready to stick around the school and village!

Today, Little hamsters from Catalonia have been to the radio to talk about our project and our social actions. Also we asked fro everybody's collaboration for our food collection for homeless cats:

And on the 15th December we collected all the food for homeless cats!

Pretty Kitties,(Turkey) phoned a shelter and asked for their needs. After they have made a small organization, they have started making posters about food collection for our homeless animals. When they have finished preparing the posters, they have hung them on the streets and at school's walls and felt that they had a big responsibility for this action!
