Table Manners by anon_250158692 on Scribd
The most important twelve table rules:
- Do not use any smartphone, all the smartphones have to switch off or mute.
- Don’t forget to say PLEASE and THANK YOU.
- Don’t speak with your mouth full of food.
- Don’t wave utensils in the air, especially KNIVES.
- Don’t eat too fast or too slow.
- Don’t slurp or burp.Making noises at the table is quite disgusting sometimes.
- Wait until everyone is served before eating.
- Never, ever chew with your mouth open. Chewing with your mouth closed and not talking when your mouth is full are two cardinal rules of good table manners.
- Compliment the cook. Even if you didn’t enjoy the food very much, you can certainly say something nice!
- You have to consider into account that enough food remains for others.
- Never stuff your mouth. Take small bites and never wolf down your food.
- Always pick up your plate and say thank you.
