Description: 

One of the main challenges of today's education is Inclusion, that means, to opt resolutely for attention to the plurality and diversity of our students, promoting equal opportunities and participation. Our eTwinning Plus project (Ukraine, Spain, Tunisia) is part of this line of work. We set out to promote in our students the awareness that the diversity of abilities, motivations and learning rhythms is common in our educational reality. With the argument that an extraterrestrial came to our Earth and visited our schools, we wanted to promote in our students real mechanisms of welcome, to awaken in them attitudes of respect for differences, to create occasions for reflection on events that make our schools more inclusive (School Day for Peace and Non-Violence,etc ).The project has also allowed the students to face new learning experiences and to participate in the resolution of complex tasks (comic and a short film) Our students were proud to present their culture and cultural heritage to the Eti visitor. It was a very captivating cultural exchange.

Innovation and Methodology: 

The methodology has been varied, ranging from the simplest (individual work, for example the creation and voting of logos, personal presentation in Padlet, individual self-assessment of the project in Surveymonkey's Form) to the most complex (work in mixed groups (https://twinspace.etwinning.net/44273/pages/page/296374) for the production of the comic strip and the short film). We also plan activities that range from the most intuitive (TwinSpace familiarisation activities, logo production and voting) to the most elaborate (mixed international groups), including small groupings in each school (Peace Day, Internet Safety Day, #eTwinningDay).

Curriculum Integration 

The first competence I tried to develop was language competence, practicing Spanish as a foreign language. Also, and of equal importance, we tried to develop civic and citizenship competence, designing activities that would facilitate the personal knowledge of the participants, stimulating their awareness of belonging to the group (logo voting), encouraging varied groupings, encouraging reflection on respect for differences and adopting positions of solidarity and empathy (Peace Day, 25 November, #etwinningDay). We also tried to develop cultural awareness and expression through the thread of the story we chose for the project (the students had to make explicit to an extraterrestrial what were the most characteristic elements of our culture). And, of course, other skills have been developed importantly: Language Competence; Learning to Learn Competence (students put in place strategies to search for and present information, for example on the Peace Day, Safer Internet Day); Digital Competence (knowledge and development of tools, such as Padlet, Pixton, google slides, Youtube...); sense of initiative and entrepreneurial spirit (students have gradually gained maturity and autonomy as they carry out the tasks in the project).

Communication

The partners have been actively involved in all phases of the project, both in planning and in the development, monitoring and publication of the products achieved. Initially, we communicated by courier, message and Google documents. The rest of the collaboration was developed through the pages, the teacher's board and the project diary on TwinSpace.

Different tools were used so that the students could share the work in the different phases of the project. The "Padlet" tool has been very useful to us, as it allows instant and group communication when it comes to sharing ideas and opinions.

The "Forums" tool has also been very useful to us, as the students have exchanged their ideas for the final product (Eti's comic).

We should also mention the videoconference we held in May, where the students were able to jointly evaluate, with other project partners, the development and achievement of objectives.

 Collaboration: 

The distribution of work between the partners has been very balanced. We have been involved from the outset and believe that there is evidence of collaboration from all of us in the vast majority of activities (planning, development, evaluation and dissemination).

To achieve the two final products (comic and short film), the students, organized in five mixed international groups identified by the names of exoplanets (https://twinspace.etwinning.net/44273/pages/page/296374) communicated through the Forums (https://twinspace.etwinning.net/44273/forums) and prepared the comic cooperatively, using the Pixton tool. Once this product was created, the students of each school proceeded to the recording: each group was in charge of choosing the location and dramatizing the content of one of the comic strip cartoons that narrated Eti's adventures in each locality.

Uno de los principales retos de la educación actual es la inclusividad, es decir, optar decididamente por la atención a la pluralidad y diversidad de nuestros alumnos, propiciando la igualdad de oportunidades y la participación. En esta línea de trabajo se enmarca nuestro proyecto eTwinning Plus (Ucrania, España, Túnez). Nos propusimos fomentar en nuestros alumnos la conciencia de que la diversidad de capacidades, motivaciones y ritmos de aprendizaje  es algo habitual en nuestra realidad educativa. Con el hilo argumental de que un extraterrestre llegaba a nuestra Tierra y visitaba nuestros centros, queríamos  promover en nuestros alumnos mecanismos reales de acogida, despertar en ellos actitudes de respeto a las diferencias, suscitar ocasiones para la reflexión sobre efemérides que hacen de nuestras escuelas lugares más inclusivos (Día Internacional de la Eliminación de la Violencia contra la mujer, Día Escolar de la Paz y la no violencia, Día de Seguridad en Internet). El proyecto también ha permitido a los alumnos enfrentarse a nuevas experiencias de aprendizaje y a participar en la resolución tareas complejas (creación de un cómic y posterior grabación de un cortometraje) que debían resolver cooperativamente. Nuestros alumnos se sintieron orgullosos de presentar sus costumbres, cultura y patrimonio cultural a la visitante Eti y, al mismo tiempo, de descubrir la cultura de las otras regiones visitadas. Fue un intercambio cultural muy cautivante.

Innovación pedagógica y creatividad 

La metodología ha sido variada, yendo desde lo más sencillo (trabajo individual, por ejemplo en la realización y votación de logotipos, presentación personal en  Padlet, autoevaluación individual del proyecto en Formulario de Surveymonkey), hasta lo más complejo (trabajo en grupos mixtos (https://twinspace.etwinning.net/44273/pages/page/296374) para la realización del cómic y del cortometraje). También planificamos actividades que iban desde lo más intuitivo (actividades de familiarización del TwinSpace, realización y votación de logotipos) hasta lo más elaborado (grupos mixtos internacionales), pasando por los pequeños agrupamientos en cada centro (Día Escolar de la Paz, Día de la Seguridad en Internet, #eTwinningDay).

Integración en el plan de estudios 

Por lo tanto, la primera competencia que intentamos desarrollar fue la cívica y ciudadana, diseñando actividades que facilitaran el conocimiento personal de los participantes, estimulando su conciencia de pertenencia al grupo (votación de logotipo), fomentando los agrupamientos variados, propiciando la reflexión sobre el respeto por las diferencias y adoptando posturas de solidaridad y empatía (Día de la Paz, 25 de noviembre, #etwinningDay). También, tratamos de desarrollar la  Conciencia y expresión culturales por el hilo argumental que elegimos para el proyecto (los alumnos tenían que explicitar ante un extraterrestre cuáles eran los elementos más característicos de nuestra cultura). Y, por supuesto, se han desarrollado de forma importante otras competencias: la Competencia lingüística, en nuestro caso, en lengua castellana; la Competencia de aprender a aprender (los alumnos pusieron en marcha estrategias para buscar y presentar la información, por ejemplo en las efemérides del Día de la Paz, Día de Internet Segura), la Competencia Digital (conocimiento y perfeccionamiento de herramientas, como Padlet, Pixton, StopMotion, Quick, Youtube); sentido de iniciativa y espíritu emprendedor (los alumnos han ganado en madurez y autonomía de forma progresiva a medida que realizaban las tareas en del proyecto).

Comunicación e interacción entre centros socios 

Los socios hemos participado activamente en todas las fases del proyecto, tanto en la planificación como en el desarrollo, la supervisión y la publicación de los productos conseguidos. Inicialmente, nos comunicamos por mensajería y por documentos de Google. El resto de la colaboración se desarrolló mediante las páginas, el Tablón del docente y el Diario del proyecto en el TwinSpace.

Se utilizaron distintas herramientas para que los alumnos pudieran compartir el trabajo en las distintas fases del proyecto. La herramienta “Padlet” nos ha sido de gran utilidad, ya que permite la comunicación instantánea y grupal, cuando se trataba de poner en común ideas y opiniones.

La herramienta de los “Foros” también nos ha sido muy útil, pues los alumnos han intercambiado sus ideas para la elaboración del producto final (cómic de Eti).

Tenemos que citar, asimismo, la videoconferencia que celebramos en el mes de mayo, donde los alumnos pudieron evaluar conjuntamente, con otros socios de proyecto, el desarrollo y consecución de objetivos.

Colaboración entre centros escolares asociados 

El reparto de trabajo entre los socios ha sido muy equilibrado. Nos hemos implicado desde el principio y creemos que hay muestras de colaboración de todos nosotros en la inmensa mayoría de las actividades (planificación, desarrollo, evaluación y difusión)

• Difusión de mensajes por el Día 25 de noviembre con el hastag #BienQuerernoseTwinning
• Día Escolar de la Paz.

• Animación a la lectura de “Wonder” y realización de flexágonos.

• Grabación del corto.

Para conseguir los dos productos finales (cómic y cortometraje), los alumnos, organizados en  cinco grupos mixtos internacionales identificados con nombres de exoplanetas (https://twinspace.etwinning.net/44273/pages/page/296374) se comunicaron mediante los Foros (https://twinspace.etwinning.net/44273/forums) y prepararon el cómic cooperativamente, usando la herramienta  Pixton. Una vez que fue creado este producto, los alumnos de cada centro escolar procedieron a la grabación: cada grupo se encargó de elegir la localización y dramatizar el contenido de una de las viñetas del cómic que narraba las aventuras de Eti en su paso por cada  localidad.
