.Adnan Kahveci Middle School is located on the Anatolian side of Istanbul in Maltepe. Maltepe is a district in the suburbs of Istanbul, Turkey. In Byzantine times, the area was known as Bryas. Maltepe was in the past also famous for its coastline and it does command an excellent view of the Princes' Island. The E5 highway cuts through Maltepe and north of the highway where our school is the poorer area of Zümrütevler.

Our school has 1500 students and 96 education staff. In our school we have 52 classrooms, 4 science labs,  a music class, a library, an art class and a conference hall. There has been LCD Interactive Boards in each class for a year. Although our school hasn't got a gym, we have handball, football and athletism team that has won several medals.
