On 28.06.-04.07.2018, students and teachers of the Primary School named after H. Sienkiewicz in Konopiska, as part of the Erasmus + project, stayed in Kavala. It was the third meeting of students from Poland, Portugal and Greece. During the visit, the students  took part in workshops related to teaching science through active methods. After compulsory classes, at school, project participants visited the island of Thassos along with an archeological museum, the island of Athos and the Halkidiki peninsula as part of educational trips. Students and teachers also had the opportunity to try traditional dishes and integrate with Greek families. Thanks to our stay in Greece, we were able to expand our knowledge about the culture and history of this country. The young participants of the meeting developed their language and social competences as well as had the opportunity to work in international groups.
