Short-term exchanges of groups of pupils in Poland

  • From 25 to 29 October 2017 Primary School in Konopiska hosted students and teachers from schools in Portugal and Greece.

    Students and teachers took part in a series of various workshops, working in international groups.

    The theme of the workshops was to work on one of the most important key competences in the education process - reading comprehension. Students carried out tasks consisting in reading, reciting, creating various texts to which they prepared appropriate exercises to check understanding. As part of the workshops, the students, among other things, read a piece of text and then asked  questions to the text they learned, using STORY CUBES created their own stories together with a set of questions for others. Guests from Portugal and Greece also had the opportunity to learn about the monuments, culture and cuisine of our country.

    we visited Krakow, Warsaw and Auschwitz - places that are especially important for Poles, which are also known all over the world.

    Such a live history lesson was an amazing experience for them.

    The guests were extremely impressed by our school and traditional hospitality.
