This is the name of our european eTwinning project that we will elaborate this year with the cooperation of 9 schools ( 6 kindergartens and 3 primary school classes)and 11 teachers from Greece, Ukraine, Poland, Romania and Italy..

A few words about our project

Every country has behind its culture a rich mythology full of legends and myths. The Greek Mythology happens to be the richest. Beginning from this point and focusing in the existence of mythical beings, we will travel back in time and we will learn about the mythological creatures in Greece and in Europe. We will try to understand the symbolism of their myths and to relate them to how our ancestors interpreted various phenomenato. We will try to realize the difference of myth with reality and eliminate the fear arising from these mythical monsters.Beggining with a letter from an archaeologist who has lost pieces of his map and asks for help, children will try to find the pieces of the map and unite them, participating in a treasure hunt in order to find and learn about the mythical creatures of Eyrope. Children will have to find the map route by finding the answers to some mythical riddles and write an imaginary story about mythological monsters. At the end they will create a museum with the most known mythological monsters of Europe and present it to the local community
