ERASMUS + IN SPAIN

  • ERASMUS+ IN SPAIN

From Monday 20th of September to Saturday 26th we went to Salamanca for the second meeting of the Erasmus+ project. We stayed in el Encinar, a little village in the South-East of the city. With our group of Italians (6 students and 2 teachers) there was a delegation from The Netherlands. We arrived there around 1 o'clock am. The families were waiting for us and we could meet them after 6 months.

On the next day, Monday, we visited the school. Our lesson plan for the day was: class of commercials, video and stop motion, robotics. There were two breaks of 20 minutes. The Spanish teachers who organized the lesson were David, Sole, Belen and Mariangeles. In the afternoon we went together to "las ferias de Salamanca", a Luna park in the town. We ha a lot of fun!

On Tuesday we spent the day in Salamanca. We visited the city and saw Plaza Mayor, The cathedral, the university and a lot of parks. There were many souvernir shops where we bought postcards and little objects for our families.

On Wednesday we got up early because the bus to Caceres left at 8 o'clock. At 11 we arrived in Trujillo, a town in Estremadura, where we could see an example of medieval castle. Then we moved to Caceres, the wonderful capital of the region. There we had to play a game: take selfies in front of the most famous monuments. Although it was very hot, we did it. We came back home at 9 pm.

On Thursday we had class of maths with Mariangeles and we started taking photos for the stop motion commercial. We had to invent a technological object which could help us in the normal life. Every work group was composed by 1 Italian, 1 Spaniard and 1 Dutch. We used phantasy and created useful and interesting devices. In the afternoon we went shopping in the commercial centre "El Tormes" where we bought t.-shirts, jeans, jumpers and visited a lot of shops. It was hard because we walked a lot but had a great time.

On Friday we finished recording the video and had the last class of robotics. We were divided in groups to construct and program a robot, following the instructions. Finally, from 6 pm we went to the school party. The families could see our works: videos and robots. After this, we danced and sang in the gym and ate local products. The best day of the meeting! We spent the last moments together by night, going for a walk around El Encinar.

On Saturday we left at 9 to go back to Italy. We were very sad, but we promised that, one day, we'll return.
