Harderwijk and Zeewolde, NL

  • The city of Harderwijk is almost in the exact centre of the Netherlands. 

    The city received its city rights in 1231 and grew as a harbour due to its position at the Suydersee. 

    Nowadays, the city  has around 46.000 inhabitants. 

     

    One of the main touristic attractions of the city is the Dolfinarium. 

     

    The Levant is the school in Zeewolde

    Zeewolde is a city in the Flevopolder, which means that up until 1960's this area used to be sea. 
    In 1984, the municipality of Zeewolde was born and this makes it the youngest municipality of the Netherlands. 
    The village has around 21.000 inhabitants.
