    The legend of Knight Horymir

Brave and cautious Knight Horymir ruled at Neumětel Castle. It was in the time of Prince Křesomysl, when people were hungry and moved to places where metals were found. Knight Horymir asked the prince at Vyšehrad to return the people back to the field. He did not succeed and the miners of the prince avenged him by firing the yard. Therefore, the Knight Horymir had mined their mines with their people. He was captured and sentenced to death. Prior to the execution, he demanded that he be allowed to ride his horse for the last time. His wishes were allowed. While driving, the rider whispered something to the horse in his ear. The horse stood up and skipped the walls. He ran down the rock and jumped into the river Vltava. He overcame the opposite bank and saved the life of Knight Horymir. He got to the house and died there. He was buried at the door of Horymir's court.
