The 2nd class children invited their grandparents in a few weeks ago to teach them some card games. When we began to discuss card games one day, we realised that we didn't know how to play any games except snap. We had a great afternoon learning to play games such as switch, 21 and go fish

In Whitecross school we love to get our Grandparents involved as much as we can. In keeping with the theme of the project, we thought it would be nice to invite them into the school. The Senior Infant class held grandparents day today. The children said prayers and sang songs for their grandparents. The grandparents brought along old toys, old Irish currency and old photos of themselves and our locality for the children to look at.
