The children really enjoyed getting involved in the Art/Craft element of our project for our exhibition during our trip to Bulgaria.Many of our classes got involved and we took a sample of pieces that the children made. The children worked on weaving, crochet, cross stitch, flower pressing, St. Brigid's Day crosses and celtic knots. Ms. Ffrench got her dad to come into a group of her pupils and he taught them the old skill of making corn dollies. That was an afternoon that the children enjoyed very much and they were excited for our partners to see them.
