"M3 (May 2019) Last transnational meeting in Romania. The material of the two years will be put together and a book of the partnership will be published with the most representative products and ideas. Also, the final data concerning evaluation and dissemination will be discussed."
Sunday - 12th May
Arrival of the delegations. Teachers of the Greek School of Bucharest met the national teams at the airport. Teachers were taken to the hotel “Bucharest Comfort Suites” in Bucharest. The rest of the day was free.
Monday - 13th May
08:30: Teachers arrived at School for the first working meeting, accompanied by the music teacher. A welcome ceremony was held. At the basement of the school, we offered our visitors the traditional sour cheery confiture, raisins and liquor.
09:00: We all gathered at the Meeting room of the School and the Headmaster held a short welcome speech. Coordinators and teachers started the meeting. We scheduled all the upcoming activities to be done during this Transnational Meeting. The coordinator of the Greek School of the Bucharest checked with the partners the costs and payments, gave the invoices to each country and gave all the necessary explanations. The Certificates of Attendance were checked by the coordinators and corrected where necessary.
10:00: Coffee break.
10:30: After the break two of our students played baglama, a national instrument and sung rebetico. At the end of this event, the students showed the teachers how to play this instrument.
(This event with music and songs was organized by the music teacher of the School Marianna Katopi.)
Presents were exchanged between schools and photos were taken.
11.15: All delegations, accompanied by Blitsas Panagiotis and Kalogiannidou Despoina, went for a walk to Herăstrău Park.
12:30: They visited the Village Museum, located in Herăstrău Park, where they got acquaintance with the traditional way of life in Romania.
14:30: Lunch and coffee at Caru’ cu Bere
16:00: Walk in the Old City Centre and Sight-Seeing according with the project “Multicultural Bucharest”. The delegations were guided by Lazar Elena (Professor of the Greek History in University of Bucharest) and accompanied by Basina Vasiliki, Katopi Marianna.
18:00: Free Time
Tuesday - 14th May
08:00: All delegations met at the hotel’s lobby and, accompanied by Kalogiannidou Despoina, made an excursion to Peleș Palace, the palace of the royal family of Romania. We had a coffee break in Sinaia. After that we arrived at Bran and visited Bran Castle. Two hours later we arrived at Brașov and visited the Black Church. We had lunch and coffee at “La Ceaun” restaurant in Brașov. After an one hour and a hlaf sight-seeing we left to Bucharest.
Wednesday - 15th May
08:30: Arrival at School for the Final Program Meeting, where the following issues has been discussed: MINUTE of meeting in Lithuania was signed, All participants filled in a Survey: Project Motivation, All participants were given their Certificate of Attendance, Invoices and other money matters were checked for last time, Departure time has been confirmed. Concerning evaluation (questionnaire) and dissemination the following has been discussed: MINUTE of the meeting in Romania should be written until 15.06.2019, Issues of eTwinning quality label were discussed and the deadline was reminded (end September 2019), The project coordinator was asked to send participants the MINUTES of all the meetings, The project coordinator will publish the final report as a shareable Google doc until 15.06.2019, The project coordinator reminded the partners to update blog, Turkey was asked to change blog’s language from Turkish to English, Spain will send 3 different questionnaire (for students, parents and teachers) for the final evaluation, until 15.06.2019, Participants of each school (students, parents and teachers) have to answer 4 questions in a form of a video. The questions will be send by Spain in 2 weeks’ time, Romania is responsible for the final product –all the material of the 2 years will be put together as an e-book containing pictures and links referring to our activities and will be published until 15.06.2019, If nessecery an on-line meeting will be held at the beginning of June.
10:00: Visiting Primăverii Palace, the Residence of N. Ceausescu
13:30: Visit the AFI shopping mall- Free time
18:00: Teachers were taken to Greek Restaurant “Makedonia” by the lake Cernica, for the farewell dinner. The group of national dancers performed folk dances. After they invited all the guests to join in. The headmaster of the Greek School of Bucharest held a short farewell speech. The project coordinator declared the end of the project, thanked all partners for their hard work and wished them all the best.
