MONDAY 22nd
It's been an intense and busy week. An unforgettable experience! First we visited the Town Hall were the Major welcomed us and told us how excited they were about the Erasmus project. Then, at school we introduced our guests to teachers, students, representatives from parent's association and staff workers. It was an amazing morning with all the welcoming activities, songs and theatre! Students from year six showed us a little piece from 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' by William Shakespeare.
During the afternoon we had the chance of strengthening links participating in dances and musical games by the famous musical group 'Pesdelan'.
An intense week need lots of planning. That's why Monday afternoon, after 'Pesdelan' event, was dedicated to a meeting were all teachers revised the agenda of the week and decision were made concerning forthcoming activities of our project.
TUESDAY 23rd
On Tuesday we played with robots. Our year six students worked really hard making boards to practice creative writing games, fairy tales based games and culture ones. We also worked on learning and deciding the music for the song of our partnership.
The afternoon was pretty busy. We learned lots about theatre and the world of scene with Estíbaliz Veiga. Estíbaliz is a famous actress and theatre educator. She showed us her job and led a very interesting and joyful masterclass.
During the afternoon a special activity for our guests and host families was organised. It was a guided visit to Viveiro and they enjoyed it very much. Thanks Suso for bringing History alive and unforgettable!
WEDNESDAY 24th
On Wednesday 24th we visited Santiago de Compostela. During the morning we visited the rooftops of the Cathedral. We also visited the Galician Centre for Dramatic Art and learnt lots about theatre from a backstage point of view and technical issues. We also showed our guests the beautiful historical centre of the city, its treasures and stories.
THURSDAY 25th
Thursday was dedicated to sports, strengthening boundaries and building strong relationships that can last forever?!
Just after our arrival at school in the morning we got ready for a sports activity in Foz. With the help of 'Maremasma' we learned and practiced both surf and kayak.
Back in school we had lunch at the school canteen and then we walked around Cervo, the small town where our school is located. This walk through natural paths led us to 'Sargadelos' the famous worldwide pottery factory. There we visited the exposition of what is done in the factory and learned some of its history, its importance as a promoter of the Galician culture and the quality of the products they sell.
FRIDAY 26th
Important time of the week as last rehearsals of the song of the partnership were done as well as the recording of the song, the 'Erasmus Song'

During the morning we also attended a play in English, a comedy called 'Tarzan' by Face2Face company. All students had worked before the mobility in a shared didactic unit provided by Face2Face to make the most of this experience.
During the afternoon we honoured our guests with a 'Magosto', a typical autumn party were chestnuts are eaten and traditional games are played. We roasted chestnuts and showed our guests typical games.
We also received the group of a folk dance group who sang and danced traditional Galician music.
Then, it was the time to give certificates and say goodbye to an amazing and intense week we will never forget.
SATURDAY 27th
Farewell to our beloved friends
