Flying birds to celebrate DENIP
We have learned the story of Sadako, a Japanese girl who was two years old when the Americans dropped the atomic bomb in Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. This girl is remembered because she folded a thousand cranes of origami before her death, due to exposure to atomic radiation.
In memory of Sadako, and asking Peace to the world, we have decided to fold hundreds of origami paper birds to let everybody knows her history.
We students, teachers and the rest of the staff of Lestonnac want to fill the sky of Badalona with flying birds!
For two weeks, Secondary students have helped the younger pupils to achieve their goal.
