    project students presented and discussed

    during their 2nd online meeting on January 23rd, 2017

    The problems are listed in the order they were mentioned by the transnational groups of partners.

    Through discussion, the TG members managed to provide plausible solutions to the problems.

    The problems below were illustrated in the form of two eBooks, each one provided by a project class

    and made available at the bottom of the current page

    Limited parking spaces

    Use bicycles, build more parking spaces

    Eat more fruits and vegetables, explain the harm of unhealthy food

    put more bins, avoid littering when using a playground, hire a janitor to clean the  area

    campaign with leaflets & an online campaign to inform the public about the cause of the problem, who is responsible for it & how each one of the citizens can help in solving the problem

    torn-up pavements  

    private initiative, organise group of local builders to repair the pavements together

    soil contamination due to

    recycling, composting of organic

    air pollution due to factory fumes and the increased use of cars (especially old cars  and buses )

    reduce number of cars. use bike more,  plant more trees , make factories put filters, use less power at home, turn to Renewable Energy - Environmentally Friendly and Low Cost Energy from Inexhaustible Sources such as sun power, wind power 

    (for transportation) turn to bikes, prefer new technology car engines, install filters on cars 

     

    senior citizens 

    poor , school children can provide food, lonely, spend time with them/ going to the cinema
