LATVIA March 2018

  • Latvia March 2018

During the 3rd transnational meeting in Latvia (May 2018) teachers rounded-up on what had already been done, reflecting on and evaluating the activities already implemented (including the LTTAs) and went through the remaining part of the project. It was decided to apply for a joint international dissemination event, the TESOL Italy conference in Rome in November 2018, to present the results of the project (eg: materials prepared by the students, learning materials developed by the teachers, etc) to a wider audience. Teachers confirmed the agreement to use a common report sheet to record the activities carried out and the products prepared by students.
They also discussed the format and layout of the eTwinning TwinSpace as implemented so far. The host country, Latvia, presented interesting activities related to the Latvian culture and traditions, such as traditional games and sports activities, sustainable gardening and growing vegetables to make traditional recipes, local folklore, special art and crafts for people with disabilities, etc. which were replicated during the following LTTA in May 2018 with a clear inclusive focus for all the students.
